Co-Ed Adult Hockey League

Co-Ed Adult Leagues (for 18 years +) are held for two separate seasons, which are Spring/Summer League and Fall Winter League. There are single elimination playoffs at the end of each season. USA Hockey Referees are assigned for all games and there is a ZERO tolerance for negative behavior, bullying, and disrespect towards the refs.

Each team requires a minimum of 13 players, plus one goalie.

A LEAGUE is designed for: experienced and advanced players with at least high skill level, and is very fast paced.

B LEAGUE is designed for: mid-range to high skill level, and is fast paced.

C LEAGUE is designed for: beginner to intermediate skill level, and is slower paced.

The game format is 60 minutes of ice time with 3 periods.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS GIVEN FOR ANY REASON. ONCE YOU REGISTER YOU TAKE A SPOT ON THE TEAM. If you are concerned about the cost if you are injured, move, change jobs, etc. We suggest you purchase the insurance offered by SportsEngine at the time you register. PIA has nothing to do with this insurance, it is offered and administrated by SportsEngine. Thank you.

Registration Note:

If you choose to register for the first half of the season but decide to play for the full season, there will be no credit given for the second half. You will have to register for the second half at full price.

The Penobscot Ice Arena Offers Co-Ed Adult Learn To Skate / Learn To Play Hockey Classes once Per Week on Wednesday Nights From 8:30 to 10:30 PM . The first hour is instructional skating and drills. The second hour is a scrimmage. You can come for the first hour, or stay for both. Our rink manager, Randy Marsh, is the instructor. The cost is only $15.00 per week.
